Welcome filmgoers and filmmakers to Suite101.com's Independent Films - land where Story is King.
We get into all aspects of Independent Film here - from the tiny, ultra-low budget short to the slightly hulking, modest-budget studio subsidiary. All of them projects born of passion for their stories. We will be reviewing new releases to both theaters and DVD, discussing acquisitions, film festivals, release dates, success stories, and overlooked gems.
We hope to shine a lot on films that get overlooked in a glossy, multiplex destined, studio world.
