2008 has been a wonderful year for family films. From animated to realistic characters, these movies are sure to be a hit with everyone in the family. Finally, something everyone can agree on.

Wall-E

An animated movie, this loveable robot has caused critics in Los Angeles to boast that this movie will make the upcoming Oscar nominee list come January. Some of the best animation yet, it is no surprise that this film is made possible by Pixar, the creators of Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Finding Nemo. With a brilliant story line, kids will love the animated action scenes and adults will love the impressive story line.

Kung Fu Panda

With over the top animation and well developed characters this is a gift idea that is sure to be a treat.

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Combining several favorite film genres, this family movie is sure to accommodate any taste. Also released in 3-D, you will enjoy the thrills of seeing the lost world inside the earth not uncovered until now.

Horton Hears a Who!

Based off the popular Dr. Seuss books, Horton Hears a Who! is perfect, especially if the film is to entertain younger children. Running a few minutes short of an hour and a half it is a film that both a toddler and parent can enjoy together. Jim Carrey is the voice behind the main character Horton, an elephant, while other top name actors and actresses including Seth Rogen, Steve Carell, Jonah Hill and Amy Poehler combine to create this work of brilliance.

Speed Racer

Based off a cartoon and housing a positive moral message of reaching for the stars, this movie sheds a new light on the way that films are viewed in the world today.
